Fairtrade: “It’s the next step to providing a better life for the less fortunate.” Whilst charities and NGOs are a significant force for laying down the foundations for aid in third world regions, the concept of Fairtrade goes beyond the stage of providing assistance and actually provides a means for producers to lift themselves out of poverty.

The combination of the guaranteed Fairtrade minimum price and the Fairtrade premium allows our cotton producers to receive a fair price for their organic/pesticide-free cotton, and, as a community, to use the money from the Fairtrade premium to establish schools, hospitals and invest in infrastructure such as drinking wells.
